How far ahead you are booked, or how long a material takes to arrive. Both meanings bite: a customer who wants it next week and hears six weeks goes elsewhere, and a special-order product that takes six weeks strands a crew that was scheduled around it. Not to be confused with a sales lead, which is a different word entirely.
