Doing the jobJobs

The approved quote becomes the job, with the paperwork on it

Scope, address, tasks, checklists, materials and photos, in one place, for the person actually doing the work.

Your first 14 days are free, and nothing is charged until they are up.

What this takes off your week

The scope was agreed six weeks ago and the person on site has never read it.
The job carries the approved scope and address, so what was sold and what gets built are the same document.
Three rooms, two people, and nobody is sure who was doing the trim.
Break the job into rooms or zones and hand each one to a named person.
You remember the touch-up list on the drive home, and forget it by the time you are home.
Everything outstanding sits in one list, ordered by what will hurt most if it is left.

How it works here

1

Nothing is re-entered

An approved quote becomes a job carrying the lines, the address and the client. The photos filed against it are ready to go into the invoice or onto your website.

2

The list writes most of itself

The job proposes the tasks a job of this kind usually needs. You keep the ones that apply.

3

Materials are tracked as they are used

What went on site, what it cost and what is still to buy, so the number at the end of the job is a real one.

The specifics

An approved quote becomes a job with the scope, the address and the paperwork already on it.

Archived and current are never mixed
Asking for archived jobs returns archived jobs. No list quietly blends the two.
Crew see the jobs they are on
Scoped by having a visit on the job, through one shared rule rather than a copy per screen. A job with no visits on it shows to nobody, which is deliberate.
Creating one is gated twice
The coarse right to create a job, and then the level set on jobs itself.
One definition of what a job is
The same creation path serves the quote route and the invoice route, so a job raised from either place is the same thing with the same checks.
Visits come back in the order they happen
Each job carries its client and its visits sorted by date, so the list reads without a second lookup.

What you get

Every plan includes all of it. Plans differ by how many people can work in the account, not by which features they are allowed to use.
